Flight Training at Cranfield
Cranfield Airport have a number of long established Flight Training Schools at Cranfield teaching courses from the Light Aircraft Pilot Licence through to Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating.
Aeros Flight Training
Aeros was established in 1986 and have developed a reputation for high quality flight instruction. They have excellent commercial flight test pass rates, making them the envy of the flight training industry. Aeros offer flight training courses from PPL to CPL ME/IR at 6 UK airports, Cranfield being one of their latest bases.
Using their fleet of 47 aircraft and in-house maintenance means that they are able to respond quickly to technical issues arising, ensuring that their students benefit from very little downtime.

Azure Flying Club
Formerly the Britannia Airways / Thomson Airways Flying Club, Azure Flying Club has three PA28 aircraft based at Cranfield. Teaching Private Pilot Licence, IMC and Night Qualifications, their instructors have an abundance of flight training experience.

Billins Air Services
Billins Air Services started life at Leavesden Airport and made it's home at Cranfield in 1993. They have a membership of around 100 students and can offer training for the Private Pilot's Licence, IMC Rating and Night Qualification.
Billins Air Services is owned by Richard Billins (Chief Flying Instructor). Richard is a CAA Instructor and examiner on single and multi-engine aircraft.

Cranfield Flying School
Cranfield Flying School (CFS) is one of Europe's longest established flying schools and pilot training facilities. They offer pilot training courses that can prepare you for your first solo flight as a new pilot through to giving you the professional pilot training needs to become a commercial airline pilot. They also offer Flight Instructor Courses and Night Qualification / IMC Ratings.
Eagle Flight Training
Eagle Flight Training was established in 1992 at Luton Airport but then joined us here at Cranfield. The school is owned by Captain Shaun Bagley who has extensive experience in flight training with over 12,500 hours. Shaun is also an authorised JAA Flight and Ground Examiner. When not teaching at Cranfield, Shaun is a B737 pilot. Eagle Flight Training teach the Private Pilot's Licence, IMC / Night and Shaun can also conduct FAA exams.
FlyCb are our newest school at Cranfield and operate the EV97 Team Eurostar new-generation microlight aircraft as well at the PA28 Warrior. If you've always fancied learning to fly but found a PPL (A) licence too costly then why not gain an NPPL licence in their EV97 ?
