The Cabair Group has specialised in airline pilot training for over fifteen years, centralising commercial operations at Cranfield Airport in 1991.
The College believes that it has constructed the ideal programme to prepare airline cadets for a lifelong career. It aims to deliver mature and capable young pilots with a sound understanding of airline, as well as aircraft, operations. Once they have acquired experience on the line, they will develop and be ready to assume the responsibilities expected of a Captain. In the fullness of time they should be readily capable of fulfilling training and management roles.
Cabair commenced cadet selection and training programmes during 1987, on behalf of Air UK at Stansted and Britannia Airways at Luton. Air 2000, Airtours International, British Airways, British European, British World Airlines, Europilot Holland, JMC, Kuwait Airways, Royal Brunei Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, CHC Scotia Helicopters and Bond Offshore Helicopters have also been added to the impressive list of customers offering sponsored schemes. The College has developed an enviable reputation for delivering training courses of high quality. The maintenance of an excellent safety record is absolutely paramount.
Why choose Cranfield? Students are able to train in a unique aviation environment which embraces Cranfield Universitys College of Aeronautics, the School of Engineering and the Cranfield School of Management, as well as at a first-class airfield located within easy reach of regulated airspace.
